1. Shipping Provider

Her Sanctuary uses Aramex Store-to-Door for the delivery of orders throughout South Africa.

All orders are subject to stock availability and payment confirmation.

2. Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.

Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

During promotional periods, holidays, peak seasons, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be extended.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Once dispatched, delivery generally takes approximately 8–11 business days depending on the delivery location and courier operations.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

While Her Sanctuary strives to ensure prompt delivery, actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control.

4. Delivery Delays

Her Sanctuary shall not be held liable for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Courier operational delays
• Adverse weather conditions
• Public holidays
• Industrial action or strikes
• Road closures
• Natural disasters
• Civil unrest
• Incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer
• High shipping volumes during promotional or holiday periods

Where delays occur, Her Sanctuary will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in obtaining updated delivery information from the courier.

No refunds, credits, or compensation will be provided solely as a result of courier delays outside of Her Sanctuary's reasonable control.

Nothing in this clause limits any rights that consumers may have under applicable South African consumer protection laws.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment is completed.

Any promotions offering free shipping will be subject to the terms of that promotion.

6. Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.

Her Sanctuary shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional charges, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery details provided by the customer.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be re-shipped.

7. Order Tracking

Where available, tracking information will be provided once an order has been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment progress using the provided tracking information.

8. Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed because:

• No one is available to receive the parcel;
• The delivery address is incorrect;
• Access to the delivery location is restricted; or
• The parcel is unclaimed,

the order may be returned to the courier or to Her Sanctuary.

Any costs incurred for re-delivery may be charged to the customer.

9. Risk and Ownership

Ownership of goods passes to the customer upon full payment.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the address specified in the order.

Customers should inspect all products upon receipt and report any visible damage or delivery discrepancies within 7 days of delivery.

10. Lost Parcels

If a parcel appears to be lost in transit, customers should contact Her Sanctuary as soon as possible.

Her Sanctuary will investigate the matter with Aramex and provide updates where available.

Claims for lost parcels may be subject to the courier's investigation process and timelines.

11. Delivery Areas

Her Sanctuary currently delivers within South Africa.

Certain remote or outlying areas may experience longer delivery times.

12. Policy Changes

Her Sanctuary reserves the right to amend this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website.
